Freshers Reception and MBA Night program held on Friday October 4, 2019

Southern University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Nurul Mostafa hands over a memento to NRB Global Bank Limited Managing Director Syed Habib Hasnat at the university’s ‘Freshers Reception and MBA Night program held on Friday October 4, 2019.

Reception to newly enrolled students and MBA Night was held on Friday October 4, 2019.The Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Nurul Mostafa and founder of the University Professor Sarwar Jahan attended the program. Presided over by the Business Administration department Head Professor Dr Israt Jahan. The VC Professor Dr Md Nurul Mostafa in his speech said they believe in quality and world class education system. He observed that a degree cannot bring success until the acquired knowledge is utilized in practical field. The founder Professor Sarwar Jahan said the day is memorable for them as they started the MBA program with only one student back in 1999.The number of students is now very high due to standard of education at the university, he said. Pro VC Professor Engineer M Ali Ashraf, Managing Director of NRB Global Bank Syed Habib Hasnat, the university Academic Adviser Dr Mark Bartholomew, registrar, deans, teachers and alumni addressed the program. A cultural program also followed the discussion season.
