Performance Contract Signing between UGC and SUB

A performance contract signing ceremony (round-3) between University Grants Commission (UGC) and Southern University Bangladesh(SUB) was held at the UGC auditorium on 12th January’ 2016 for establishing Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Southern University Bangladesh.

Mr. Sarwar Jahan, founder and treasurer of the SUB, Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Mustafa, Director, IQAC of SUB and Dr. Mohammad Khaled, Secretary, UGC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

UGC Chairman, Professor Abdul Mannan, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Professor Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Member, UGC, Professor Dr Dil Afroza Begum, Member, UGC and Dr Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Operations Officer, World Bank were present as special guests. Vice-chancellors of public and private universities and directors of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell and Officials from UGC, World Bank and HEQEP were also present on the occasion

Professor Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Head of Quality Assurance Unit, UGC delivered the welcome address. Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta Project Director, HEQEP chaired the function.
