Reception and farewell ceremony of Vice Chancellor

Southern University Vice Chancellor Reception and farewell ceremony held at the University auditorium .University Trustee Board chairman was present as the chief guest. All Faculty of Deans, Heads of the department, former vice-Chancellor Professor Moin-ud-din Ahmad Khan, former Vice-Chancellor Professor AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury, former Vice-Chancellor Mozammel Hoque, faculty members and staffs were present.
The outgoing Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Ali in his speech “Southern University is moving forward,” He said that while he was in the job, the working environment and support was outstanding. The government should not judge a University as public or private rather should consider the quality of education . Which will enhance the overall educational development of the country .
The new Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr . Nurul Mustafa said , ” I have the responsibility to comply with the cooperation of the University. Following the path of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor Dr . Mustafa wish that we can take this University forward . ” Initiator and founder of Southern University Mr Sarwar Jahan said, Professor Mohammed Ali, will be with us all the time , His contribution an unforgettable one.
Southern will miss him badly. It is need to mention that from the notification of ministry of Education, Honorable President & Chancellor of Southern University Bangladesh appointed Professor Dr. Nurul Mustafa as new Vice-Chancellor. Honorable Vice-Chancellor seeks heartiest cooperation from all concerned to run this University smoothly and efficiently.
