Four members of the delegation led by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nurul Mustafa greeted the UGC chairman at the UGC office. Founder of Southern University Prof Sarwar Jahan, Prof Dr Ishrat Jahan of Department of Business Administration & Registrar Engineer Dr Mozammel Haque were present also.
During the meeting, the delegates discussed with the UGC chairman about various issues related to the university and invited him to visit Southern University. The UGC chairman assured the all-round cooperation for the development of the university. Later, Southern delegates met with UGC member Professor Dr Dil Afroza Begum, Prof Mohammad Alamgir and Prof Sajjad Hossain.
