Fahmida Sharmin Jui is an academician and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Southern University Bangladesh, where she has been a faculty member since 2012. She is also acting as the Head of both the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering as of December 2023. Her research interests include high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMT) devices, MMIC technology, semiconductor physics and optical switching networks. Her scholarly work is well-regarded, with several peer-reviewed publications in notable journals such as Microelectronic Engineering, Micro and Nanostructures, and the Journal of Computational Electronics. She has been actively involved in professional development, attending numerous workshops and training programs focused on curriculum design, quality assurance, and research methodologies. Her technical skills encompass Advanced Design Systems (ADS), MATLAB, PSPICE, and other software tools essential for electronics and communication engineering. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a profound commitment to excellence in both academia and research, contributing significantly to her field and the academic environment at Southern University Bangladesh.
