I am Mosran Kabir, a dedicated professional with a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Dhaka. My passion lies in power systems engineering, specifically in the integration of renewable energy into decentralized grids and ensuring system stability. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer at Southern University of Bangladesh, where I mentor students and contribute to research in power systems.
My research interests focus on enhancing grid resilience and stability. My undergraduate thesis, “Impact on the Post Fault Stability by TCSC in 5 Bus System Using MATLAB,” investigated the role of Thyristor-Controlled Series Capacitors (TCSC) in improving grid stability. I have also submitted research on decentralizing power systems for renewable integration, contributing to the global push for cleaner, more reliable energy solutions.
In addition to my academic work, I have led multiple projects, including designing a DC-DC converter for hybrid solar power plants and developing an automated light control system for energy conservation. My technical expertise spans across PSCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, OPAL-RT, Python, and data analytics tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
I am passionate about contributing to the development of sustainable and resilient power systems, with a particular focus on renewable energy integration and grid stability. My goal is to leverage my technical skills and research to create innovative solutions for the future of energy.
