Professional Biography:

I am Umme Tahmida, born in Chattogram. I completed my B. Pharm Professional from the University of
Chittagong (passing year 2019) and M. Pharm with a thesis from the same University (passing year 2021).
Noted that, I received National Science and Technology (NST) Research Fellowship from the Ministry of
Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for M. Pharm thesis. During
my B. Pharm & M. Pharm period, I attended different workshop and seminar for career perspective. I also
received 2 weeks in-plant training from Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited and 3 months hospital training into
Chattogram Maa-o-Shishu Hospital Medical College, Chattogram. After completing my M.Pharm degree, I
joined as an officer of Quality Control Department into Eskayef Pharmaceutical Limited (Tongi, Gazipur) at
February 2021 and promoted to Senior Executive, Quality Control at January 2023. I worked there almost 3.5
years. After that, I have joined as a lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy in Southern University
Bangladesh. I have research interest into different fields such as bioinformatics, chemistry of natural products
and screening of phytochemical & pharmacological activities etc.
